Sierra Resources, LLC is a privately-held, Houston-based independent focused on the development of oil and gas reserves through internal generation, acquisition, and joint venture. Sierra employs state-of-the-art technology to optimize the identification and recovery of oil and gas reserves in an environmentally responsible manner.
Our specialty is developing under-exploited oil and gas properties using the latest three-dimensional seismic imaging, drilling, completion and production techniques. These techniques have enabled us to discover in excess of 750 billion cubic feet equivalent oil and gas reserves.

Sierra has drilled and operated wells in most of the major producing basins of the United States.
Our main focus area has been the Vicksburg and Wilcox trends of South Texas.
Sierra has financed its acquisition and development activities with a number of lenders
